  • Helping Another grieve Loved One's Suicide (HALOS)
    Thursday, February 26, 2015

    This support group is open to anyone and discussions will remain confidential. The path of grief is a long and hard one, but you need not walk it alone. HALOS meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th Thursday of every month at the Antigo Northcentral Technical College Wood Technology Center Room WT119.   • Dr. Alan Wolfelt Grief Seminar, presented by by Wings, a Grief Education Ministry

    Program will be held at Holiday Inn and Suites at Cedar Creek in Rothschild. Presenter is Dr. Alan Wolfelt, Director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition (www.centerforloss.com). Free session, "Exploring Critical Questions When Someone Dies" on Tuesday, May 10 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. There is a $60 charge for the session on Wednesday, May 11, "PTSD - A Wound That May Be Healed" from 9:00 a.m.-noon.   • Grief Workshop - "How Grief Changes Your Life"

    A workshop sponsored by Strasser-Roller Funeral Home featuring Nan and Gary Zastrow of Wings: A Grief Education Ministry. The workshop will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 at the Antigo Holiday Inn Express Conference Room. This free program is a positive, educational, interactive exploration of many grief topics. Reservations are appreciated, but not required.
